The days are getting longer....

It is still winter in Copenhagen, but I am staring to feel the spring approaching. The days are getting longer and the sun is staring to warm us all. The ice is melting in the city's port as well as in it's inhabitants. People are again coming out, slicking the sun's life-giving rays. It is re-birth. It is the beginning of a new cycle.

Winter in Copenhagen

This winter has been unusually cold in Copenhagen. The temperature dropped in the beginning of December. And with constant low temperatures through the whole month, the port of Copenhagen started freezing up. These pictures where shot in the early days of January and show the ice building up in the inner port.
